We camped at the Salt Lake City KOA - right in town. Very large park with big trees and pull thru sites.
After we were set up, we drove to the capitol. We were able to find parking and go inside. Simple, elegant building. We spent some time walking in the city. Found the Temple and lots of flowers. Later we drove out to the lake. Actually saw the lake as the sun was setting. Beautiful! Great day.
